Korea National University of Arts (KARTS) AT Lab to Host Domestic Premiere of Hybrid Metaverse Performance SCARECROW H

The Art & Technology Lab (AT Lab) at the Korea National University of Arts (President Daejin Kim) will present the domestic premiere of its convergent metaverse performance, SCARECROW H, to the general public from Monday, November 15 to Sunday, November 28 at the Design Museum on the 2nd floor of the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Museum/Baeumter in Seoul. (Note: Closed on Monday, November 22)

Co-directed by Professor Seung-Mu Lee (School of Film, TV & Multimedia) and Director Jihyun Jung, SCARECROW H is South Korea's first hybrid metaverse performance. It reinvents previous acclaimed iterations of the project: the virtual reality convergent performance Scarecrow—which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and earned high praise from international media such as Forbes—and Scarecrow VRC, a winner of three awards at international film festivals. Invited by LG U+, this premiere will be presented as a world-first showing at the corporate pavilion of "Unfold X," organized by the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture.
